Log into Orissa Information Commission website

On the home page click on “Click here to submit request to PIO/FAA of Orissa Information Commission, as by RTI Act 2005 of Commission” link or Click on “Click here to go to e-gateway home page”.

If he/she clicks “Click here to submit request to PIO/FAA of Orissa Information Commission, as by RTI Act 2005 of Commission”, this will directly go to submission of first appeal to the FAA of OIC page.

If he/she clicks “Click here to go to e-gateway home page” link it will go to e-gateway page. On this page click the 'If you want to request the Public Information Officer of OIC for Information or to submit First Appeal to the First Appellate Authority of OIC please click here' link. |

The page will be displayed for submitting first appeal to the FAA of OIC. |

Click on ‘Submit your First Appeal’ link |

Fill up the fields as given in the form. |

The appellant gets two options ‘Save First Appeal’ and ‘Reset’ button. If he/she clicks ‘Reset’, he/she can reset the data in the form. If he/she selects ‘Save First Appeal’ button the appeal will be saved. |

If the appellant selects ‘Save First Appeal’ the complainant gets the filled up form, where all the data will be shown. |

Here the appellant gets two options (a) Edit (b) Continue. |

If the appellant selects edit, he/she can edit the information in the form. Then click
again the ‘Save First Appeal’ button. |

If he selects continue, he/she gets the Appellant Particular form before proceeding for
payment for further transaction. |

Fill up the detail information. |
14. |
After giving all the information, the appellant has to select the mode of payment.
He/she can either pay through credit card or through challan. |

For payment through Credit Card: |

(a) Click ‘Credit Card’ button, then click ‘PROCEED FOR PAYMENT’. |

The appellant receives a ‘Transaction Information’ sheet showing all the details
for paying online and has to click on ‘Pay’ button. |

It will directly go to ‘HDFC Payment Gateway’ page. |
18. |
Give the credit card details and then click on ‘Submit’. |
19. |
‘Billing Information’ Screen is displayed. Click on ‘Pay’ button. |
20. |
The appellant receives the system generated Online Temp. Registration number on the Screen. |
21. |
The appellant prints the copy of the Online Receipt for future reference. This no. can
be used further to check the appeal status in future. |

For Payment through Challan: |

(a) Click on ‘Payment through Chalan’ and then click on ‘PROCEED FOR PAYMENT’. |

The appellant receives a ‘Transaction Information’ sheet showing all the details
for paying online. Click on ‘Pay’ button. |
24. |
The ‘Challan Payment Process’ screen is displayed. |
25. |
The appellant has to give the Challan no. and has to upload/attach the scan copy of
Challan. |
26. |
Click on ‘Submit’ button. |
27. |
The appellant receives the system generated Online Temp. registration number on the Screen. |
28. |
The appellant prints the copy of the Online Receipt for future reference. |
29. |
The appellant uses the Online Temp. registration number to check the status of the appeal in future. |
